Hooker Mentality
by Jack Parker
A book containing thoughts on society from a sex worker perspective.Tired of reading leftist theory that degrades sex workers, misunderstands the nature of our work, or ignores us altogether? Maybe you've never considered what sex workers' experiences might reveal about capitalism and gender and policing? This book covers all the ways that selling sex can give hookers an insight into the systems which control us all, demonstrating why so many of us become radically left-wing after we start selling sex.Read a preview of the book here for free!

About the Author: Jack Parker

I'm Jack (he/they), a hooker who has been selling sex for almost 9 years. I started out as a sugar baby at 17 whilst still presenting as a cis woman, quickly moving on to brothel work and independent escorting to pay my bills and later funding my transition as I continued to engage in sex work.My experiences of abuse at the hands of clients and due to the stigma around sex work led me into activism, and I write about sex workers issues on my website jackviolet.com.
If you're interested in my other published work about sex workers' experiences, Working Guys: A Transmasculine Sex Worker Anthology is a book containing essays and personal narratives from 21 transmasculine sex workers alongside chapters explaining common issues trans people face in the sex industry.
